Artinger Doug Irwin Tribute Koa "Wolfie" (K26)

Brand new Doug Irwin Tribute "Wolfie" from Artinger Guitars! When Doug Irwin - legendary builder of Jerry Garcia's famous Wolf, Tiger and Rosebud guitars - passed in early 2026, Matt began construction of this very special guitar in tribute to Mr Irwin. This stunning guitar features a Koa top and back with flame maple core, as well as a eye-popping Koa/roasted maple neck and Koa neck/headstock binding. 

Features a Kluson harmonica bridge mounted to a tapped brass body block like the original Wolf. And the carved heel and back is truly a work of art. Matt created a highly intricate Wolf body inlay with a smile and nod to Jerry with his Ray Bans down on his nose!

The electronics features the "3rd generation" Wolf setup - 2 Dimarzio Super 2s and a SDS1 - all wired with a DGN buffer and buffered effects loop (OBEL). Just like Jerry's.
