2025 Gibson SG Standard '61 Stop Bar Vintage Cherry

The 2025 Gibson SG Standard '61 Stop Bar Vintage Cherry captures the unmistakable look, feel, and sound of Gibson's legendary early 1960s SG design. Built with a solid mahogany body and mahogany neck, this guitar delivers the lively resonance, rich midrange, and powerful sustain that have made the SG a favorite among rock and blues players for decades. The Slim Taper neck profile provides a fast, comfortable playing experience, while the rosewood fingerboard features 22 frets and classic acrylic trapezoid inlays. A pair of Gibson Burstbucker 61 pickups recreates the articulate, dynamic character of vintage PAF-style humbuckers, offering everything from warm, expressive cleans to biting, harmonically rich overdrive. Hand-wired electronics with Orange Drop capacitors provide traditional tonal control, while an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminum stopbar tailpiece offer excellent sustain and responsiveness. Finished in classic Vintage Cherry with nickel hardware, black reflector knobs, and Vintage Deluxe tuners with keystone buttons, this SG Standard '61 delivers timeless Gibson styling and versatile performance.
