The Gibson Custom Shop 1957 Moderne brings one of Gibson’s most unconventional late-1950s designs to life with historically inspired construction and appointments. Built with a solid mahogany body and mahogany neck, this VOS-finished example pairs its unmistakable silhouette with a comfortable ’50s Vintage neck profile and Indian rosewood fingerboard. A pair of unpotted Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups deliver open, dynamic vintage-style humbucker tones, while aged gold hardware, Kluson tuners, and True Historic appointments complete the period-inspired aesthetic. Finished in Antique Natural, the mahogany grain remains front and center on this distinctive Custom Shop build.
