The 2022 Martin Rich Robinson Signature D-28 Aged is a beautifully crafted tribute to the Black Crowes guitarist's well-loved 1954 D-28. Built with a Sitka spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides, this dreadnought delivers the rich, powerful tone, exceptional projection, and vintage character associated with Martin's legendary D-28. Hide glue construction, rearward-shifted non-scalloped X-bracing, and a dovetail neck joint contribute to its traditional sound and resonance. The genuine mahogany neck features a specially designed 1954 Rich Robinson Barrel and Heel profile, while the ebony fingerboard and bridge provide a classic playing experience. Martin's Vintage Gloss Aged finish, antique toner, and aged nickel tuners give the guitar the appearance and feel of a cherished vintage instrument. Additional appointments include mother-of-pearl dot inlays, antique white binding, and a numbered interior label signed by Rich Robinson. Includes a molded hardshell case.
