John Suhr started building guitars in the early 1980s when he worked at Rudy's Music in New York. These were called Pensa-Suhr and were sold to such famous players as Eric Clapton, Howar Leese, Mark Knopfler, Peter Frampton, Lou Reed, Steve Stevens,and others.He also worked with Robert Bradshaw designing preamps. In 1995 he joined Fender as a Senior Master Builder, building and doing product development. In 1997 he opened his own factory. |
