Joe Naylor founded Reverend in 1997, Using his background of guitar repair, luthiery school and industrial design, he came up with some different approaches to building. In 2010 Ken and Penny Hass based in Toledo, Ohio expanded the manufacturing while Naylor still submitted new designs.
