This Willcutt Exclusive Martin Custom Shop 000 combines a powerful Adirondack spruce top with visually dramatic premium Ziricote back and sides, all wrapped in elegant Style 41-inspired appointments. Built around Martin’s comfortable 000/OM Auditorium body with a 24.9" scale length, it offers a slightly softer playing feel while retaining the clarity, projection, and headroom that make Adirondack spruce such a compelling top wood.

The top is supported by hand-shaped Golden Era scalloped Adirondack spruce X-bracing, pairing the Adirondack soundboard with an equally traditional bracing package. Select abalone pearl borders the top and surrounds the Style 45 rosette, while Style 45 mosaic back purfling and antique white binding provide a refined frame for the highly figured Ziricote.

One of the defining elements of this build is its Thin Authentic Style Finish. The thinner finish package allows the character of the woods to remain front and center while giving the guitar a more traditional, lightly finished feel. The body is gloss with aging toner on the Adirondack top, while the neck is satin and the premium Ziricote headplate is polished. Martin also specifies that the Ziricote back and sides and headplate are not filled, allowing more of the wood's natural texture and character to remain visible.

A genuine mahogany GE Modified Low Oval neck with High Performance Taper, 1 3/4" nut width, black ebony fingerboard, Style 45 reduced hexagon abalone inlays, gold Waverly tuners, and premium Ziricote headplate complete the package. It's a distinctive Custom Shop build that combines traditional Martin construction and upscale Style 41 detailing with the bold natural figuring of Ziricote.
