At the heart of the Les Paul Studio Double Trouble is an Ultra Modern weight relieved mahogany body, designed for reduced weight and enhanced comfort during long sessions on stage or in the studio. A carved, plain maple cap adds clarity and attack, balancing the warmth and midrange authority of the mahogany to deliver the definitive Les Paul voice heard on countless classic recordings and live performances around the world. The gluein mahogany neck ensures exceptional resonance and sustain, while its traditional heel and fast, SlimTaper™ profile offer a familiar, effortless playing feel. A bound rosewood fretboard with acrylic trapezoid inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets, and a 12” radius makes everything from fluid chord work to expressive string bends feel natural and intuitive.
