Manuel Rodriguez opened his shop in 1959 in Los Angeles and then moved back to Spain in 1973 His son Manuel Jr. continued the business. To honor the 100 year anniversary of the founding of Rodrigues guitars they built only 100 of these instruments using their finest woods and the fact that this is maybe the only time all three luthiers have signed their names on a guitar label makes this not only an important collectable, but also a joy to play. |
