The Music Man Albert Lee HSS electric guitar combines the distinctive Albert Lee body shape with a versatile HSS pickup configuration. A DiMarzio custom humbucker, originally developed for the Music Man Axis, is paired with Albert Lee’s signature Seymour Duncan custom single coil pickups. A 5-way selector, master volume, and tone controls provide a wide range of sounds, from clear, articulate single coil tones to the full-bodied output of the bridge humbucker. The ash body is paired with a roasted figured maple neck and 22 stainless steel frets for exceptional feel, durability, and playability. A Music Man vintage tremolo, compensated nut, and locking tuners provide excellent tuning stability, while white face dots and glow-in-the-dark side markers make the fretboard easy to navigate on dark stages. The onboard preamp features Music Man’s Silent Circuit, which reduces the 60-cycle hum associated with traditional single coil pickups and helps normalize output across all five pickup selector positions.
