Stunning new Standard Koa Hollowbody from Roger Giffin.
"This is a very nice example of figured curly Koa - hard to find these days. I've finished this guitar with oil and wax as it works so well on this wood. The guitar has a Mahogany and hard Maple laminated neck with a figured Ziricote fingerboard. I used a nicely figured piece of Honduras Mahogany for the body, again, the oil and wax finish shows up the grain very well. I've also used Koa for the headstock face, heel cap, trussrod cover, and pickup rings. All the binding is cream celluloid.
The pickups on this guitar are a pair of Wolfetone Dr. Vintage humbuckers which of course sound great. I've used Hipshot Classic Open tuners and a Rezomatic wraparound bridge. All hardware is gold. Very nice guitar!"
