The American Vintage '59 Stratocaster was a pivotal transitional model for Fender.  The later '59 model is now available in a beautiful Aztec Gold finish as a custom color option limited to 2014.  It features a slim-profile D-shaped neck, dark rosewood slab fingerboard and three-ply mint green pick guard with 10 holes and vintage-style edge bevels, a lightweight alder body, aged plastic knobs and vintage-accurate pickups, bridge saddles, tuner spacing and more.
