As unusual as the artist himself, the Fender Johnny Marr Jaguar is based on Marr’s own extremely unique Jaguar from 1965. Featuring two Bare Knuckle single-coil pickups (custom-wound and voiced to Johnny’s specifications), four-way switching, nylon sleeve inserts for the bridge post, extra-tall tremolo arm, augmented circuitry featuring two “bright” slide switches, and a custom neck profile for a comfortable, broken-in feel, there’s no other Jag that feels at-once so progressive and so familiar.
