Just like he redefines the electric guitar every day, Eric Johnson and Fender redefine, and redesign, the celebrated Stratocaster. Adding special contouring to the neck and body, this Strat features a lightweight, two-piece alder body with a deep 1957-style shape, vintage-tinted, one-piece quartersawn maple neck with a 1957-style “Soft V” profile, 12”-radius maple fingerboard and 21 medium jumbo frets. Three specially-voiced Eric Johnson single-coil pickups with counter-sunk screws run through advanced five-way switching and a very special vintage-style tremolo setup features silver-painted block, ’57-style string recess and five springs. A true tone machine, down to the last screw.
