The Fender Custom Shop Jazz Bass Deluxe Closet Classic is a distinctive 2026 Collection build featuring a chambered mahogany body finished in Wide Fade Chocolate 2-Tone Sunburst lacquer. The quartersawn maple neck uses a substantial ’60 Jazz Bass “U” profile, with custom dimensions measuring .790" at the first fret and .900" at the 12th. A 9.5"-12" compound radius, Medium Jumbo 6150 frets, and Micarta black face dots complete the neck specifications.

A pair of hand-wound ’60s Vintage Jazz Bass pickups handles the electronics, with dedicated neck and bridge versions. The build is completed with a Fender High Mass bridge, black/white/black ’64 Jazz Bass pickguard, chrome/nickel hardware, and a Deluxe Closet Classic treatment.
