Crazy Tube Circuits Hi Power

The Crazy Tube Circuits HI POWER is a dual overdrive and amp-in-a-box pedal inspired by the combination of two classic British sounds associated with Pink Floyd’sWish You Were Here. The right side recreates a Colorsound Power Boost-style circuit with BC184 transistors running internally at 18V, a 2-band Baxandall EQ, bypassable master volume, improved gain sweep, and an Overdriver mode for increased gain and reduced headroom.

The left side is designed to capture the response and feel of a Hiwatt-style amplifier, ranging from bold, high-headroom cleans to aggressive crunch. It includes a full EQ section, presence control, selectable 50-watt or 100-watt-style headroom, and Normal, Bright, or Linked input modes for different levels of presence, low-end response, and gain.

A passive effects loop allows pedals to be placed between the two sections or lets each side function independently with an external switcher. The HI POWER also includes programmable power-up bypass or engage states for easier integration with remote pedal switching systems.
