Collings 002H 14-Fret Adirondack Spruce Top (109)

The Collings 002H 14-Fret takes the familiar 002H platform in a distinctive direction with several non-standard specifications, most notably its 14-fret neck joint, Adirondack spruce top, and 1 3/4" nut width. The Adirondack top is paired with East Indian rosewood back and sides, with ivoroid binding and herringbone purfling providing a traditional visual frame. A Honduran mahogany neck with a Modified V profile, ebony fingerboard, and 24 7/8" scale length completes the core construction.

Those custom appointments give this 002H a specification set that stands apart from the standard model. The 14-fret construction shifts the neck-to-body relationship from the traditional 002H layout, while the Adirondack spruce top brings a more headroom to the build and the 1 3/4" nut width offers a slightly broader feel at the nut. Pre-war scalloped X-bracing, an ebony pyramid-style bridge, nickel Waverly tuners, and a high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish round out this uniquely configured Collings.
