The Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue captures the construction, feel, and character of one of the most celebrated electric guitars ever made. This Green Lemon Fade example features a figured two-piece maple top over a one-piece lightweight mahogany back, an Authentic ’59 Medium C neck profile, and an Indian rosewood fingerboard assembled with hide glue. Murphy Lab Heavy Aging gives the nitrocellulose finish the checking, wear, and patina of a heavily played vintage instrument, while a pair of unpotted Alnico 3 Custombuckers provide the open, articulate response associated with classic late-’50s PAF-style pickups. Historically inspired hardware, plastics, electronics, and construction details complete this highly authentic ’59-style Les Paul.

Condition: Excellent. The guitar previously had Grover tuners installed and has since been returned to Kluson tuners using conversion bushings.
