2023 Gibson Tony Iommi "Monkey" SG Special Vintage Cherry Underwood Aged

The Gibson Tony Iommi “Monkey” SG Special pays tribute to one of the most recognizable guitars in heavy music history. Built around the classic SG formula of a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and Indian rosewood fingerboard, it features a pair of P-90 pickups for the raw, aggressive tone associated with Iommi’s early Black Sabbath sound. This example has been professionally aged by Chad Underwood, giving the Vintage Cherry finish and hardware a convincingly broken-in appearance while preserving the feel and performance of a modern instrument. An adjustable wraparound bridge, Grover Rotomatic tuners, and hand-wired electronics with Orange Drop capacitors complete the package.
