New Roger Giffin Standard HB with Spruce Top in stock!

This is a new hollow-body Standard with a Black Limba body and neck, and a rich Cherry stained Engleman Spruce top. This Spruce has some unusual figuring in the grain and looks incredible!

"I used a pair of TV Jones FilterTron Classic pickups which gives this guitar a very "sparkly" sound, reminiscent of a Gretsch, and that was the general idea for this instrument. The Maccassar Ebony figerboard adds a little "hardness" to the overall sound which creates a very balanced tone.

The bridge is a TonePros AVT2, and for a change, I've used a set of Kluson "Waffle-back" tuners which worked very well and look great! As mentioned before, the Spruce is stained Cherry red and then clear coated, and the back is natural color clear gloss."
