The Valentine "Carmelo" BFR features a solid ash body outlined with attractive shell binding finished with an exclusive translucent butterscotch color coat. What makes this new springtime edition BFR unique lies in the newly installed electronics package showcasing a custom pair of Ernie Ball Music Man "Ranger" pickups. These passive humbuckers offer a full dynamic tonality with plenty of hi-fi clarity and chime. Coupled with a 5-way lever switch, this Valentine distinctively conjures up a wide variety of interesting tonal combinations. Another stunning feature is the addition of a vintage-style Bigsby floating tremolo. While dive bombs fans may not be thoroughly enamored, this tremolo is highly appropriate for subtle vibrato action whenever needed. A roasted figured maple neck with rosewood fingerboard is crafted with white dot position markers surrounded by a uniformed chrome hardware package. A James Valentine autograph adorns the back cavity cover, and each guitar is offered with a Music Man hardshell case.
