Designed specifically for Willcutt Guitars, the V2 carve delivers a sleeker, more ergonomic feel without sacrificing the substance and vintage character players love in a late-’50s Les Paul. It’s the perfect middle ground between a chunky ’58 profile and the faster ’60 Slim Taper—comfortable, balanced, and exceptionally playable.

The top is a stunning 2-piece figured maple set with hide glue, finished in Green Lemon Fade under a VOS nitro lacquer for a naturally broken-in look. Lightweight, 1-piece mahogany completes the historic recipe, paired with long-tenon hide-glue construction for maximum resonance and sustain.

Under the hood, a matched set of Custombucker Alnico 3 (unpotted) pickups delivers the dry, woody clarity and vintage bloom of a true late-’50s PAF. Period-correct details—Royalite binding, gold butyrate knobs, M69 rings, no-wire ABR-1, lightweight aluminum stop bar, and nickel hardware—complete an instrument built with total historic accuracy.
