Crafted by rising Fender Masterbuilder Austin MacNutt, this Custom Shop Stratocaster is a faithful nod to vintage Fender tradition with modern nuance and elite craftsmanship. Built around a 2-piece alder body in classic '60 Strat style, it’s finished in an expertly aged Fiesta Red lacquer with a lightly checked, road-worn patina that perfectly captures decades of soulful stage wear.

The neck is a standout—cut from AAA birdseye maple and carved to a comfortable '59 Esquire “C” profile. It features a 7.25"–9.5" compound radius, 21 medium vintage 47095 frets, and a subtly aged maple fingerboard with wide-spaced micarta white dot inlays, giving it a worn-in feel with exceptional playability. A bone nut and vintage-style tuners complete the period-correct vibe.

Loaded with a set of Josefina Hand-Wound '69 Strat pickups, this Strat delivers all the bell-like clarity, glassy highs, and punchy midrange you'd expect from a golden-era single-coil set. The electronics are wired with Strat Vintage '59–'60 controls, 250k taper pots, and a 0.1uf vintage-style cap, providing both warmth and sparkle with a responsive dynamic range. The middle pickup is non-RWRP, preserving traditional phase interaction in position 2 and 4.

Additional appointments include a vintage-style synchronized tremolo, 1-ply white vinyl pickguard, vintage parchment backplate, and a "V" logo neck plate. Aged hardware and a parchment relic aesthetic tie the whole instrument together visually.
