Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay 5 HH Willcutt Exclusive Special Lava Burst (144)

The first bass designed by Ernie Ball Music Man, the Stingray 5 was unveiled in 1987 and has been an industry standard for extended range basses ever since. With its powerful punchy sound, the added flexibility of additional pickups and a comfortably contoured body the StingRay5 satisfies even the most demanding of players.

This special edition is part of a limited run commissioned by Willcutt Guitars. We flew to the Music Man factory in San Luis Obispo and picked out the finest flame Roasted Maple necks and lightweight ash and Ash bodies for this run. Features a special custom designed stain, Lava Burst, which is rich and elegant when applied to the grade A ash bodies that we picked out.
