One of the most iconic and popular models in Fender history, the “Blackguard” Telecaster has earned its place as an unmistakable tonal force on countless recordings. The Fender Custom Shop is proud to offer this historic guitar with all the customized modifications made famous by players and technicians throughout its storied history. The two-piece ash body wears a Heavy Relic lacquer finish that imparts the look and feel of a well-loved instrument that’s seen its share of action. The tinted rift-sawn maple neck has a comfortable 10/’56 “V” profile, topped with a 7.5 to 9.5” fingerboard radius with medium vintage frets.

A Seymour Duncan® Seth Lover humbucker neck pickup and hand-wound “Crushed” Blackguard Tele bridge pickup are combined with dual-stack HS Tele wiring to create a perfect sonic balance using 250k (bridge) and 500k (neck) volume and tone potentiometers. Other features include ’51 Nocaster® bridge with compensated brass saddles, single-ply black pickguard, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, and disk string tree. Includes deluxe hard shell tweed case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
