Taylor Guitars

Bob Tayor has made a lifelong guitar journey, turning a passion for guitars into a honorable and successful business. He built his fist Taylor guitar, a 12 string, in his wood shop class during his junior year of high school. Later, he started a small guitar shop with Kurt Listug, his friend and now CEO of Taylor Guitars. Taylor Guitars have been played and recorded with by players as diverse as Prince, Zac Brown, Jason Miraz, Doyle Dykes, Neil Young, Dave Mathews, and of course,Taylor Swift. He has pioneered such advances as the NT neck joint to facilitate easier neck resets, use of Fadal CNC machines for guitar work, UV curing finishes, and robotic buffing. He also supports renewable wood sourcing and has even set up his own Ebony sawmill in Africa. This employes local workers at a fair wage and has educated them and the guitar buying public that figured and colored Ebony is wonderful, not a defect. Previously only totally black logs were used and the figured ones were left to rot in the jungle since you could only tell the color of the wood when the tree was felled and cut open. We have been proud to represent Taylor Guitars since the 80's and have always found them to be the most honest, ethical guitar company in the industry. Bob Taylor, Kurt Listug, and now Andy Powers are continuing to improve their guitars and enrich the lives of millions of enthusiasts. We keep our guitars in humidity controlled rooms and carefully set up each one before shipping. Try one from our continuing rotating stock of the best that Taylor has to offer. You will be glad you did!
