At Ernie Ball Music Man, we sweat the details. That's why we're confident that when you play your Ernie Ball Busic Man guitar or bass, ypu'll find it's a great instrument. Every Music Man guitar and bass brings together the best materials, superior craftsmanship, knowledge gained from decades of guitar-making tradition, and functional yet innovative design.
Our instruments are constructed using only the finest selected tonewoods. Bodies and necks of alder, ash, basswood, poplar, and maple are individually chosen and matched for their rich tonal qualities, stable grain characteristics and beauty.
We achieve unequaled playability, beauty and consistency by finding the the ideal balance between man and machine; using both delicate craftsmanship, and the digital accuracy of robotic technology at different stages in the manufacturing process. Most of our designers and craftsmen are musicians too, so they know when your guitar or bass is right.
Today's Music Man guitars and basses carry on two great music industry traditions: The Ernie Ball legacy of simplicity, reliability and function that began with our Slinky strings almost 50 years ago, and the Music Man tradition of excellence in instrument design which began in the 70s with the StingRay bass.
We're proud of every guitar and bass that leaves our San Luis Obispo California factory. Each instrument represents everything we think a guitar should be. And we think you'll agree right down to the last detail.
